As the name implies, the owner of Chalet du Berger was part of the original farming families in Val d’Isère. The chalet itself is very much in the French family home style, so has great character and is perfect for socializing with a large lounge and dining area. The bedrooms all have ensuite facilities and the chalet has two triple bedrooms offering great value for families or friends. The balcony of Chalet du Berger looks out over ‘La Solaise’ and the cable-car that whisks you up to the top of that mountain is only four minutes’ walk away. The chalet is also accessible on skis from various runs including the famous Olympic run, ‘La Face’. We offer a generous discount of 1½ free places for filling the chalet. Should you wish to purchase some locally-produced cheese during your stay, there is a 'vente de fromage' behind the chalet!
