So last month we looked at ice karting and the Courchevel Luge, this month it's all about getting above the mountains:

PARAGLIDING - all resorts

or parapenting as it's know in French, available in all our resorts. A tandem flight on a paraglider is an excellent opportunity to taste the freedom of the purest and safest form of flying. HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE - Courchevel

This is not a cheap option so maybe save it for a special occasion! A private journey is €1400 for up to 4 passengers or if you are prepared to join others you don't know then the cost is €280 per person. SKY DIVING - Courchevel

The ultimate adrenalin rush! Tandmen Skydiving has made it possible for a novice to get a tast of what skydiving is all about without extensive training. Tandem involves a ten minute instruction session, after which the novice jumper puts on a harness and is clipped to the harness of an expert instructor. The free fall lasts around 45 seconds and involves speeds of up to 120mph and a straight fall of up to 6000ft. Once the extra large parachute has deployed, it is dual controlled and the parachute ride to the ground will last around 5 minutes.
