We are delighted to add yet another new chalet to our portfolio for winter 2025/26. Geneviève is perched piste-side among some of the most prestigious chalets that Val d'Isere has to offer, up in the Legettaz quarter beside the slopes that run back into the village centre. It lies near the end of a cul-de sac, meaning it remains quiet and peaceful. The almost constant free bus service stops right by the chalet - it will get you to the main lifts at the rond point in less than 5 minutes.

The lounge and dining areas are beautifully picturesque, with large windows giving some gorgeous views up to the Manchet valley. There is a large terrace on which we have a hot tub, giving you fabulous views as your tired muscles get massaged by the hot-water jets!

There is a mixture of twin, double and triple rooms, with 5 separate bathrooms. The bedrooms are beautifully finished with very comfortable beds and quality  bedding. There is also a heated boot room and ski store on the ground floor.

If you wish to ski from the chalet you just walk 100 metres down the road and join the piste. At the end of the day you can peel off "M" and ski back through the trees to the chalet. The Rogoney chairlift will also bring you back closer to home.

We are sure that Genevieve will become a firm favourite amongst the thousands of Le Ski regulars.

Chalet Genevieve is number 3 on this map

Val d’Isère is a dramatic resort with an excellent lift system. There are easy links to Tignes which make it a huge skiing area, renowned for challenging skiing and vast off-piste areas.

This is not to say that novices are overlooked – they can warm up on the free ‘Village’ drag, then opt for the ‘Ski Tranquille’ area around Borsat.

More experienced skiers should try out ‘Criterium’ in La Daille, venturing to ‘Mattis’ in the trees during snowy weather.

A trip over to Tignes is simple and quick and opens up all manner of options for skiing and sampling the vin chaud! Advanced skiers will enjoy the challenge of speeding down La Face (the Olympic downhill in 1992) at the end of the day.

Those who have come to sample the famous powder have almost unlimited options - take a professional guide...
