Get to see how a controlled avalanche is set off using the CATEX system, you need to register with the tourist office before 3pm on Monday (only 10 places available) and will need to have your ski pass with you. Visit lasts one hour.

Winter Golf
Val d’Isère is to host the Winter Golf event for the fourth consecutive year.
Sixteen years ago, golf enthusiast, Philippe Guilhem, dreamt up a new and unique way of playing golf … in winter, on the snow! His crazy idea has today developed in to an international golf tournament played in prestigious resorts such Megéve, Crans-Montana, Aspen and Val d’Isére.
This year, Winter Golf will take place in four different stages on the 9-hole course in the Manchet valley.
PROGRAMME :
– From March 29th to 30th: France v England Challenge (Ski and golf combined team competition)
– March 31st from 5.30pm: Street Golf (on the snow front and the streets of Val d’Isère)
– From March 31st to April 2nd: BMW Winter Golf Cup (Golf on snow competition – 2 rounds)
– April 3rd : Free play (all welcome)

As part of the Winter golf programme come along and play golf on the snow and streets of Val D'Isere.
Friday 1st April
Ski Patrollers memorial race, La Raye Slope, 10am
For the 31st consecutive year the memorial Alpine ski race will see over 100 ski patrollers from 20 alpine resorts compete in a slalom race over 2 runs.

Demonstration by the sports club chidren, also suprise guests including Alexis Pintaurault & Anne-Sophie Barthe, torchlight descent and fireworks display. Free hot drinks.
