Snow Report 6th March 2016

06-Mar-2016

Val D'Isere

Val D'Isere's bumper snow season continued this past week with mostly white out and heavy snow everyday!! Quite a bad week of conditions for the guests apart from bluebird on Tuesday- thank goodness they had one good day! Up until the 3rd March we've already had 5.2m of snowfall in resort centre, to put that into perspective at the same date last year only 3m had fallen and the total for the whole season last year was just 4m so we are already way ahead of that!

Forecast for the coming week is showing sunshine for Monday, light snow showers on Tuesday, sunshine on Wednesday followed by sunny spells amongst snow showers for the rest of the week.

Base of snow: 170cm
Summit: 305cm

Last snowfall: 29cm last 72 hours
11cm last 24 hours

38/42 lifts currently open
73/76 trails open

For all the best route advice be sure to pop along to see RSA Olivia at the Gourmandine cafe each morning except Thursday from 9am .

Courchevel & La Tania

The snow this week has been fantastic with fresh snow falling every day except Tuesday which saw beautiful clear blue skies! The base level of snow is now at 161 cm at 1850m and 212cm at 2700m.

The week ahead looks like being sunny on Monday, a small top up of snow on Tuesday followed by sunny spells and snow showers for the rest of the week.

In La Tania Our Resort & Ski Assistant, Liv will be popping round your chalets each morning, in Courchevel RSA Steve will be at the picnic tables at the top of the escalators just below the bottom of the Ariondaz bubble from 9.00 until 9.30 each morning except for his day off on Thursday, pop along to see him to get route cards and advice on the best pistes to ski each day.

Hope you all have a fantastic week with this lovely fresh snow!
