Snow Report 13th March 2016

Courchevel & La Tania

The snow this Saturday was lovely, and that feeling was shared by pretty much all staff and guests alike! There is an absolutely perfect covering over all the 3 Valleys with good skiing to be had everywhere!

The skiing in the Courchevel valley, in La Tania,  1650 and 1850, is awesome. The snow is lovely and soft, providing brilliant grip! For those who made it out early the pistes were groomed in eager anticipation for them, but even towards the end of the day very few runs became chopped up or un-enjoyable. They all kept putting smiles on faces, and especially with the sun constantly shining down I think it was impossible to be unhappy in the mountains this week...

This week the Meribel valley has proved its worth! The snow over there is a little more compact than in Courchevel, most likely due to it's sun trap nature, but the most fun was to be had over there on Saturday! The long run right from the top of Saulire down to Meribel Chaudanne (a real leg burner) was heaps and heaps of fun, especially Chamois which is a red of slightly steeper gradient than most.

In summary, the snow probably couldn't get much better and with all the options and variety available in the three valleys, you'd be silly not to make the most of it!
