Weather forecast for the coming week is mainly sunny with snow on Tuesday afternoon evening and throughout the day on Thursday, temperatures getting colder as the week progresses down to -10 on Saturday.

Courchevel & La Tania

This Saturday proved that there doesn’t have to be a blue sky and a yellow sun to make a day special… In fact,it was pretty miserable weather wise but the snow was unbeatable!

The pistes are all fairly hard packed at the moment, but not too icy. The majority are just right for digging those edges in and cruising past the ski schools. Sam  one of our  Courchevel GSM  went on a little adventure today in the form of a trip to Meribel and back via Le Praz and the snow was fairly consistent the whole time.

The Courchevel valley was by far the best, dropping down the mountain slightly to Le Praz saw the pistes get harder, but still skiable right the way down to the Foret chair and Le Praz bubble.

Dropping down into Meribel the snow stayed fairly similar in standard. A little slippey (staying true to most  Meribel slopes it seems) but nothing too challenging! Heading back up and over via Creux, the snow improved to the point that it was dreamy and Marquis down into 1650 was a little piece of heaven.

Weather forecast for the coming week is a mixture of sunshine and snow, with Wednesday, Friday & Saturday looking best for sunshine! Temperatures will range from +4 on Monday down to -9 on Saturday.
