Chalet Le Mazot is just how a child would draw an Alpine ski property. Beautiful wood throughout, pitched slate roof, sunny (or snowy) balconies, wooden floors in the bedrooms and a roaring log fireplace.

And now Mazot is getting a mini makeover! Brand new extra comfy sofas are replacing the current "banquette" or bench seating. Regulars will be delighted that their evenings spent in this charming Alpine chalet can now include lounging around on the sofa pretending to be a teenager. The chalet is getting a new paint job too so Mazot will be THE place to go. Prices start at just £844 including flights and transfers.

The whole building oozes with charm, much like the gregarious owner who lives in the South of France. He sometimes moans that he can never go skiing because our guests always fill his chalet - but never complains about the rent he gets! Ah well.

The warm and cosy top floor lounge area has a double height wooden ceiling with French windows opening onto the South-West facing balcony. From here you can admire the wonderful views down the valley – perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of pre-dinner Le Ski Champagne and canapes!

The classy sauna really adds to the appeal of the chalet and you can warm up and relax those muscles after a hard day on the mountain.

Located in a peaceful spot six minutes’ walk below the village, Le Mazot is also close to the escalator which arrives straight into the village centre. The lifts and shops can also be accessed by bus. The amazing Aquamotion is just a short walk down the hill.
