Loved by ski geeks everywhere, If you love your stats then Ski Tracks is for you. Lots of our guests use this one and the feedback from your days skiing gives you plenty to chat about over dinner back in the chalet. We have heard of some people who ended up more than bumped and bruised when trying to top their Max Speed so please take care out there when using this one!
Another App for those nurturing their inner geek, this one tells you your exact location and Altitude, could be useful if you stray off the beaten track and need rescuing?!

For any powder hounds out there, the Mammut Safety App features a clinometer to estimate slope angle, a compass to determine slope exposure and an altimeter. The app combines these features to give a basic risk check, the app also has an SOS feature that can communicate your GPS location to rescue services. If you are heading off-piste make sure you ski with a guide, are carrying all the necessary equipment (transceiver, probe & shovel) and have been trained how to use it.

If you're staying in La Tania or Courchevel it's well worth downloading the Trois Vallees Addict App, it's really useful for checking which pistes are open and whether they have been groomed overnight. If you've ever wondered where all those Michelin starred restaurants are in the 3 Valleys it will show you that too! If you don't want to rack up hefting roaming charges make sure you use the chalet wifi and check before you head up the hill!
