Come to watch as 5 snow sculptures (over 4 metres tall) take form during the week as well as a nativity snow scene and an igloo. First the snow is packed into a case, then the outline is drawn on the snow. The creations are carved out with a chainsaw and finished off with a handsaw by five talented sculptors.

French National Ski Instructors Annual Christmas Show and Fireworks display 18:00
Watch the instructors from the French national school demonstrate skiing styles including telemark, freestyle & alpine skiing, there will also be a torchlight descent and fireworks display. Mulled wine will be served by the instructors from 6pm at the foot of the Bellevarde Face.

23rd December
Christmas Magic show 'Discovery of Benjamin Lycan' 18:00
Free magic show for all audiences from the age of 4, lasts 1hr 20 minutes in the conference centre.

24th December
Santa Claus is coming to town and you can find him on the slopes too! 17:00 & 13:00
This year Santa will be arriving on his sleigh on Olympic Avenue with his fairytale helpers, there will be face painting in the tourist office from 3pm and Father Christmas will be on the main street stage at 5pm. During the afternoon from 1pm until 4pm Santa will be on the Pim Pam Poom slopes, which is the new beginner area at the top of Solaise, there will be a competition for 4-8 year olds for the best drawing, prize will be awarded on the main stage at 16.45.

25th December
Floodlit dual slalom 17:45
This race is open to all holidaymakers wishing to have a go at giant slalom competitive skiing, there will be 3 categories - children, men & women, free entry at club des sports from Monday. Limited number of places though so book early to avoid disappointment! Dyanstar skis to be won in each category, race will start at 17.45 on the Savonette slope.

Bowling Luge Disco Party, village centre 17:00
Come down to the village centre for a bowling luge disco party which lasts from 17.00 until 18.00

Thursday 24th December
Torchlight descent, Father Christmas & Fireworks 17.45
If your children want to take part in the torchlight descent register at the tourist office at 17.10, torchlight descent starts with the little ones followed by main display from the Ski instructors, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be served at the bottom of the Troika/Folyeres pistes, firework display follows at 18.00 and there will be a photo point with Santa from 18.00 until 19.00

Friday 25th December
Childrens disco party, village centre 17:00
The music will be pumping from outside the tourist office from 17.0 until 18.30 for all the children to enjoy a disco party on the street.

There are also live bands for Apres  at 5pm in the Taiga on Monday & Tuesday and Ski Lodge on Wednesday & Friday.

Crispy marshmallows and a lovely atmosphere at the Place du Bachal at the top of the escalators.
