It's a quiet week in our resorts for the entertainment this week, here are the highlights of what's on offer:




Courchevel


Wednesday 13th Janary

Maple Taffy, Snowfront 1850, 16.30

There will be maple lollipops, entertainment and hot drinks on the snowfront in front of the main lift stations of 1850 from 16.30.

Verdons by night, Verdons piste, 18.00-20.00
If you've ever fancied a bit of night skiing, head up to 1850 to enjoy the ambiance of the Verdns and Chalet de Pierres restaurants, skiing available in the family park and on the Verdons Piste, free with a 3 Valleys liftpass, €8 with a Coourchevel liftpass. For an extra €40 you can also try snowmobiling for 15 mins on the Renards piste.

Jazz Concert, Salle Polyvalente, Courchevel Moriond, 18.00
The Pariswing quartet are putting on a Jazz concert for free at the Salle Polyvalente which is just above the tourist office.

Thursday 14th Janary

Poker tournament, Salle Polyvalente, Courchevel Moriond, 20.00

You need to register with the tourist office as places are limited to the first 32 but if Poker is your thing you can join this friendly tournament for free, no money needed.

Monday 11th January

Live music from the Jobert Rohnson Blues Band, Chrome Bar, 16.30

For a chilled Apres head along to the chrome to see this great band.

Wednesday 13th January

Broom Ball, resort centre, 17.00-18.00

The tourist office are putting on free broom ball for children on Wednesday.

Thursday 14th January

Bring Your Sisters, Ski Lodge, 17.00

If you like getting hot and sweaty head to the ski lodge for Apres with one of the Alps most popular bands - Bring yor Sisters!

Friday 15th January

Vin chaud & hot chocolate, resort centre, 17.00-18.30

Come along for a free mulled wine or hot chocolate from outside the tourist office.



Val D'Isere

Wednesday 13th January

Cross-country ski race, Dolomites Square, 18.00

American style relay race for teams of two, lasts 20 minutes, free entry with registration at 5.30pm or if you just want to watch the action there will be compimentary mulled wine being served by the Grand Marnier Creperie.

Wednesday 13th - Friday 15th January

Emporio Armani EA7 Tour, EA7 Igloo, snowfront, 9am to 5pm

Ski & Snowboard tests, EA7 Ski cahllenge, apres ski are just some of the things visitors can take part in, register at the igloo to take part.

Thursday 14th January

Airstar Night Light, Olympique Avenue & Tourist Office Sqaure, 18.00 to 19.30

Val D'Isere's traditional pedestrian evening with illuminations, snow sculptures, street entertainment and live music with the Colasx Trio, all in the tourist office square and along Olympic Avenue.

Saturday 16th January

SSV Quad Ice Tour, Ice driving Circuit, from 08.45

Calling all driving enthusiasts come along and admire SSVs and quads on ice! 08.45 Practise, 10.45 preliminary rounds, 11.15 qualifying heats, 3.15 quarterfinal, 4.15 Semi final, 17.00 Final, 17.30 Prize giving.
