Skiing Bond

26-Oct-2015

Spectre launches in cinemas today, so to celebrate this fact we take a look at our top five Bond

snow scenes

5. Tomorrow never dies (1997) So whilst there isn't actually a ski scene in this one Courchevel's

altiport does star in the opening sequence so for this alone it makes it into our top 5!

4. A View to a Kill (1985) Roger Moore  snowboards his way out of trouble on a true 80s board

3.On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) George Lazenby may not be everyone's favourite bond

but he pulls off a great ski chase much of it just on the one ski!

2. For Your Eyes Only (1981) This has to be the craziest Bond ski chase, with him careering through

the crowds like one of those club des sports kids, skiing across tables and along a bobsleigh run. It's

definitelly a bit on the bonkers side!

1.The Spy who loved me (1977) Roger Moore again shows his love of snowports, this time he's

on skis has a ski pole that converts to a weapon which he manages to shoot while skiing

backwards, follows that with a backflip and then skis off a cliff to safety under a union jack

parachute - what's not to love!

There are a couple more scenes that didn't make the cut if you prefer Pierce Brosnan in

Tomorrow Never Dies or Timothy Dalton sledging on a cello in The Living Daylights let us know

here.
