SFR Freestyle Tour
Sunday 5^th March – Tuesday 7^th March, all day, Tignes snow park
This year, the SFR Freestyle Tour, currently the largest freestyle ski competition in Europe, is offering four major events in the international calendar in two new Olympic disciplines: halfpipe and slope style. But this year, they’re going even bigger: the SFR Freestyle Tour stage in Tignes, is on the World Cup calendar!  This event is an “open” competition in which pros and amateurs can sign up. There is prize money limitless glory to be won.

Snake Gliss

Sledging of the future! Why not try this snake-like sledging where a group of you are linked together in a chain of up to 10 people. Children must be over 4 years old and be accompanied by an adult.
 
Classical Music Festival
Monday 6^th, Wednesday 8^th and Thursday 9^th March, 19:00 – 20:30, Saint Bernard de Menthon church
This festival features internationally acclaimed musicians. Tickets cost 17€ for adults and 14€ for children. There is a 43€ pass for three concerts (35€ for children). Tickets on sale at the Tourist Office from Saturday or at the door 30 minutes before the concert starts.

Airboarding
Thursday 9^th March, 17:45 – 19:00, Savonette Piste - Free
Try sledging face first down the flood-lit Savonette slope in the center of Val d’Isere on these specially designed airboards. Steer by shifting your weight and experience a weight flight over the snow. Free and open to all, children must be over 9 years old and accompanied by an adult.
 
Yooner Sledging
Friday 10^th March, 17:45 – 19:00, Saconettes piste
Come and have a go on this light, manoeuvrable and very comfortable Yooner sledge. This sledge offers a lot of fun and excitement right from the very first turn. Come and have a go on the floodlit Savonette nursery slope. Suitable for children 5 years and over, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Millet Ski Touring Courchevel
Wednesday 8^th March, 17:00, La Praz - 6€ to take part
Ski touring race starting under the bubble in La Praz and finish in the Croisette in Courchevel 1850.

Poker Tournament

Flying and Skiing French Championships
Friday 10^th and Saturday the 11^th of March, Free
Friday – The event will take place all day. Paragliders will demonstrate their precision landing skills. On Friday paragliders will take off from La Loze and need to hit a target placed on the snow front. Also there will be a helicopter jump display 100 meters abover Courchevel 1850.
Saturday – Todays competition will take place from the top of Saulire down piste M and Creux.
