Classical Music Festival
Monday 16th January 19:30 – 21:00
Classic music festival held in Val d’Isere’s old baroque church, St. Bernard Menthon. Tickets cost 17€ for adults and 14€ for children. Tickets are on sale at the Tourist Office from Saturday or at the door 30 minutes before the concert starts. https://youtu.be/3xEb3e4nK5I.
 
Cross Country Ski Race
Wednesday 11th January, 18:30 – 19:30, Place des Dolomites - Free
Short friendly relay style race in teams of two. Cross country equipment loaned by Intersport and
Boarso shop. Prizes for the winners and hot mulled wine provided by the Grand Marnier Creperie – all welcome to take part and watch.
 
Backstage in Val d’Isere
Thursday 19th January 15:45 – 16:45, Solaise ski pass office – Free
Come backstage in Val d’Isere to see what really goes on behind the scenes; you can find out how artificial snow is made, see the inner workings of the Olympique Cable Car and how avalanches are triggered. You can also learn aboutCatex avalanche blasting and visit the rescue post. Guests must book on in advance before Wednesday at 15:00 (20 places available).

Come and have a go on this light, 
manoeuvrable and very comfortable Yooner sledge. This sledge offers a lot of fun and excitement right from the very first turn. Come and have a go on the floodlit Savonette nursery slope. Suitable for children 5 years and over, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Verdons by night
Wednesday 11th January 18:00 – 20:00, Verdons piste – Free for 3 valley pass holders and 10€ for other/non pass holders.
Skiers and snowboarders of all ages are invited to experience the sensation of night skiing on the Verdons piste. Here you can also access the family park and a DJ will be playing. The whole piste will be floodlit for all to enjoy.
