Snake Gliss

Sledging of the future! Why not try this snake-like sledging where a group of you are linked together in a chain of up to 10 people. Children must be over 4 years old and be accompanied by an adult.
 
Backstage in Val d’Isere
Thursday 14th March 15:45 – 16:45, Solaise ski pass office – Free
Come backstage in Val d’Isere to see what really goes on behind the scenes; you can find out how artificial snow is made, see the inner workings of the Olympique Cable Car and how avalanches are triggered. You can also learn aboutCatex avalanche blasting and visit the rescue post. Guests must book on in advance before Wednesday at 15:00 (20 places available).
 
Airboarding
Thursday 16th March, 17:45 – 19:00, Savonette Piste - Free
Try sledging face first down the flood-lit Savonette slope in the center of Val d’Isere on these specially designed airboards. Steer by shifting your weight and experience a weight flight over the snow. Free and open to all, children must be over 9 years old and accompanied by an adult.
 
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Golden coin hunt from 09:00 – 16:00 throughout the Val d’Isere ski area. Val d’Isere Telepherique staff will be handing out chocolate golden coins at the foot of selected lifts. There will also be a St. Patricks day concerts at 18:00 in the Tourist Office square with an Irish bar hosted by “La Sauce”.
 
GEM Altigliss Challenge
Saturday 18th March – Saturday 25th March, 09:00 – 16:00

The week long competition is organised by Altigliss - Grenoble's Ecole de Management student club - and over 1,000 students are expected to attend, from around 25 countries. Previous winners have won an extreme sports trip to Canada so it's well worth the trip!

Art Guided Tour

Go for a walk around Courchevel 1850 to discover the artwork. In partnership with the FACIM foundation. Registration is compulsory the evening before at the Tourism Office in 1850.
