Snake Gliss

Sledging of the future! Why not try this snake-like sledging where a group of you are linked together in a chain of up to 10 people. Children must be over 4 years old and be accompanied by an adult.
  
Airboarding
Wednesday 1st March, 17:45 – 19:00, Savonette Piste - Free
Trysledging face first down the flood-lit Savonette slope in the center of Val d’Isere on these specially designed airboards. Steer by shifting your weight and experience a weight flight over the snow. Free and open to all, children must be over 9 years old and accompanied by an adult.
 
Backstage in Val d’Isere
Thursday 2nd March 15:45 – 16:45, Solaise ski pass office – Free
Come backstage in Val d’Isere to see what really goes on behind the scenes; you can find out how artificial snow is made, see the inner workings of the Olympique Cable Car and how avalanches are triggered. You can also learn aboutCatex avalanche blasting and visit the rescue post. Guests must book on in advance before Wednesday at 15:00 (20 places available).
 
Brazilian Carnival
Thursday 2nd March, 18:00 – 19:30, Olympique Avenue & Val d’Isere Village
Come and watch this colorful parade with music and fantastic costumes to animate the streets of Val d’Isere.
 
Dynastar Slalom Trophy
Friday 3rd March, 17:45 – 19:30, Savonette Piste
This slalom competition is open to all who wish to take part, although places are limited. Winners from each category will win a pair od Dynastar skis! If you wish to sign up please visit the Tourist Office from Monday onwards.

Haribo Show
Monday 27th February, 17:30 – 19:00, Courchevel Village
A torch light descent for ESF flacon level and above. An entertaining and fun ski run followed by a snack.
 
International Festival of Pyrotechnic Art
Tuesday 28th February,
3:30pm – Le Praz carnival with face painting and balloon sculptures
6:45pm – Torchlight descent, 7:00pm Fireworks, and music become one. Witness the most beautiful show of its kind in the mountains, this competition being together the crème de la crème of the world's leading pyrotechnicians. The evening will start with torchlight decent and this week's competitors are “Steyrfire” from Austria.
 
Millet Ski Touring Courchevel
Wednesday 1st March, 17:00, La Praz - 6€ to take part
Ski touring race starting under the bubble in La Praz and finish in the Croisette in Courchevel 1850.
 
Children’s Treasure Hunt
Wednesday 1st march, 17:15, 16:15, Courchevel snow front – Free
See how many treasures you can find in the ESF Piou Piou area.
  
International Fireworks Closing Party and Verdons by night XXL
Thursday 2nd March, 17:30 – 22:30, Verdons piste – Free for 3 valley pass holders and 10€ for other/non pass holders.
Skiers and snowboarders of all ages are invited to experience the sensation of night skiing on the Verdons piste. Here you can also access the family park and the whole piste will be floodlit for all to enjoy. Restaurants will be open, dancefloor, DJ, snowmobile driving for children, avalanche search demonstration and a fireworks display from the Belgium team “HC Pyrotechnics” at 19:20.
  
Aqua Crazy Night
Thursday 2nd March, 20:00 – 22:00, Aquamotion Courchevel 1550, 15€
Take the plunge in a crazy atmosphere. Extreme canyon, entertainment, indoor surf wave, diving contest. Many prizes to be won followed by happy hour in Stars ‘n’ Bars.
