'Another wonderful holiday with Le Ski. Chalet spotlessly clean, excellent cooked breakfasts, afternoon tea (with home-baked cakes) and wonderful 3 course evening meals all prepared by our fantastic chalet host.'

Courchevel & La Tania

The snow this week has been pretty good! Today was no different with the snow holding firm despite what the elements have thrown at it over the past few days!

Courchevel 1650 was lovely as usual with the majority of runs being well groomed and enjoyable. There were little tufts of powder (maybe a better description is looser snow) dotted throughout the runs but nothing that was too troublesome.

Courchevel 1850 was very much the same as 1650 today and is likely to hold up over the next few days. What with the wind, the softer stuff on top had blown away, but the majority of runs are pleasant and in very good condition!

We have anther snowy week forecast ahead of us with Tuesday & Thursday looking the brightest so they may be the best days for a 3 valley adventure!

In La Tania Our Resort & Ski Assistant, Liv will be popping round your chalets each morning, in Courchevel RSA Dan will be at the picnic tables at the top of the escalators just below the bottom of the Ariondaz bubble from 9.00 until 9.30 each morning except for his day off on Thursday, pop along to see him to get route cards and advice on the best pistes to ski each day.

Val D'Isere

This week we had a lot of white out at the beginning! The first few days had very bad visibility, however, Thursday and Friday were sunny and clear and with the fresh snow it made for excellent conditions for the guests. Saturday saw high winds and low light. We have forecast for about 50cm of snow over the next day or so!! Loking like a snowy week ahead, brighter on Tuesday and a chance of some sunny spells  from Thursday onwards.

Base of snow: 143cm
Summit: 268cm

Temps yesterday were down to -15 degrees with increased wind chill. Highs of -2

Last snowfall: 8cm last 72 hours
8cm last 24 hours

38/42 lifts currently open
74/76 trails open

Make sure to come along to the Gourmandine cafe between 9.00 and 9.30 each morning to catch RSA Greer who has some great tips on where's best to ski each day.

Hope you all have a great week - enjoy the fresh snow!
