Since our recent blog on what apps to download for your holiday we've discovered the 'Ski 2 the Moon' App developed by CoreCoders for Snow-Camp. Snow-Camp is the UKs only youth charity using skiing, snowboarding and life skills to support young people. This winter they've come up with a way for everyone in the skiing and snowboarding community to get involved and help raise money through their ski to the moon challenge. The event is unique because skiers and snowboarders all over the world can join in - they just download the Ski 2 The Moon app, set a personal goal and get skiing or snowboarding. Every mile skied is tracked by the app and contributes to a grand total of everyone's efforts in pursuit of the target distance - The Moon - 238,855 miles away!
