A CLASSIC ALPINE CHALET WITH OODLES OF CHARM AND HISTORY
When Le Ski took their first tentaive steps in Courchevel in 1983 it was the charming local ski shop owner Francis Blanc who spotted an opportunity for both of us. He put us in touch with lots of locals, laying the foundations for what is now our huge network of friends and business partners throughout the resort.
"So what?" you're probably thinking!
Well his daughter Sophie owns Maurilisa...
Sophie inherited a ruined roofless barn and she and Roger transormed it into a typical Alpine chalet in the 1990s. Since then it has undergone a few serious makeovers and it remains one of our most popular and best placed chalets in Courchevel.
Chalet Maurilisa is in a fantastic position hidden away down a side street yet only 100 metres from the main lift station and village centre. Its balcony and outdoor hot tub have splendid views up to the slopes and forests in Courchevel - you feel like you're hiding away in plain sight.
All three bedrooms have either ensuite or private bathrooms. Two of these bathrooms have baths in which you can soak away the bumps and bruises of a normal day on the slopes.
The warm and cosy lounge has a log fireplace and comfortable sofas, and as always, the Le Ski service is the same high standard whichever chalet you choose. Beware though...the lounge is very soporiphic and many a guest has been known to wake up on the sofa.
