'Another wonderful holiday with Le Ski. Chalet spotlessly clean, excellent cooked breakfasts, afternoon tea (with home-baked cakes) and wonderful 3 course evening meals all prepared by our fantastic chalet host.'

Snow Report 30th January

30-Jan-2016

Courchevel & La Tania

The snow is really nice out there today! If you follow the normal advice of sticking to the sun covered runs then you’ll largely dodge the icey sections. It really hasn’t been cold enough for too much ice to form so we’re in luck in that respect.

Today I skied the Courchevel Valley from the top right the way down to 1550, back and forth between 1650 and 1850 like a yoyo! Every run I did was pleasant to ski and not too busy either… there was a little queuing on chairs but I think that’s simply because the glorious weather drove out the locals!

Looking forward to next week, there’s a little snow on the horizon which will only help to make the pistes even better! With the temperature dropping throughout the week this should bode well for some good skiing to be done!
