“Try the Bel Air restaurant in 1650 at the top of lift. Wonderful lunches, fab view from terrace. Recommend the walnut salad. Coffee and cake or a drink. Also celebrity spotting.”

“The Combe de Saulire is one of the best runs in Courchevel, especially first thing in the morning when it is often empty. It can also be accessed from Meribel and is a little steep at the top but is very wide and the snow is always brilliant on it. It can get busy at the end of the day but is still my favourite red run in The Three Valleys.”

“Best restaurant: La Casserole at the bottom of the signal lift. Quite expensive but great to go once in the holiday, I would definitely recommend lobster risotto.
 
Best run: Chaplets. It's a red, but a lovely red and more of a blue when pisted. Indians is great fun with jumps and things to do. A nice blue run is Pyramides - however a warning, the drag lift is quite steep.
 
Good bars: The Bubble Bar, amazing hot chocolate! Or Le Schuss for apres ski. If you can head over to Meribel and have a toffee vodka at Ronnies nothing is better!
Where to hire: Intersport - without a doubt the best and the guys are great with getting you the right kit.
 
Eating: In 1550 there is a great restaurant called I think L’Oeuil de Boeuf, amazing for meat eaters.
 
Overall: I find Courchevel the nicest of the Three Valleys but it's great to try get all the way across one day. It's a great resort and if you're with Le Ski you're in some of the greatest hands!”

"Prices are high so when aiming for a choc stop go for a top class venue. You may pay one or two more euros but the ambience beverage and service will be worth it."

"Talk to the Le Ski guest services manager or ski host over a nice hot breakfast. Find from them what is pisted and the Piste de Jour or check it all out on the Three Valleys app. 
 
If it's a nice day ask the chalet hosts for packed lunch for a few Euros and on a not so good day ski to the Chabichou in1850 and have the menu du jour at lunch, great value. 
 
Ski it all, it's all good with easy access to Meribel and a bit of apres-ski at the La Folie Douce and a good day tour to Val Thorens and don't forget the Foliere run down into La Tania a great place on white out days in the low tree lined runs. 
 
One evening enjoy a little bit of sophistication at Cave des Lys in Le Praz. See you there as usual at Christmas!"

"One word – Chapelets. Especially now it has the new lift. It's so far over in on the Three Valleys that's lots of folk don't discover it. It's long and steep and if it's been just been groomed it feels like a World Cup run. My favourite run ever!"

“Choose your lunch venues carefully - some are very expensive! Pub Le Ski Lodge in La Tania has great live music, a little take-away booth at the top of Ariondaz lift under the main restaurant is good and there are tables to sit outside. Or just buy Mars bars to fill you till your scrummy afternoon tea in the chalet!”

"Stay at Le Ski's Rikiki chalet for convenience to the slopes and great atmosphere.
Use the Boot Lab for the best boots you will ever own.
Get Sweet Snowsports (Jason or John) for the best coaching in Courchevel.
Go to the Bubble Bar for lunchtime panini and Vin Chaud and later for a great night out. Courchneige is also great for lunch time and right on the piste too.
Have a go on the toboggan run from 1850 - brilliant fun."

"Lovely restaurant in St Martin ‘La Voute’. Well worth the trip from 1650. It is just opposite the church and hasbbeen there for many years. Great food and very reasonable prices. You can also ski down the Jerusalem piste on the way, which many vote one of the best in Les 3 Valleys.”

"Best mountain lunch - Caves Des Creux above 1850. Amazing views, beautiful sun terrace, great food and delicious wine. You will need to book in advance especially if the forecast is good as the outside tables go very quickly."

"Grab a hot chocolate (or a glass of champagne) at the Courcheneige on Bellecote and enjoy the sun terrace with someone special. Take it from me, you never know who might be waiting to pop a very important question...
 
Dance along to the piano man at Verdons sandwich bar (trust me, he'll be thrilled!). Investigate the tipis on Indiens on the way home, and ALWAYS stop in at the Bubble bar in 1650 after a long day, especially if ‘Bring Your Sisters’ are playing 
 
Try pistes you never thought you could do. Take a moment to acknowledge the hard work that got you to this holiday. People watch, always. But most importantly, soak it all in. Relax and enjoy."

"Best mountain restaurant: Bel Air (ravioli is lovely) the views are wonderful as is the service.
 
Best Resort Bar: I love the Fire & Ice bar at the bottom of the 1650. The comfy sofas, blankets and fire are perfect for hot chocolate outside."

Best Runs: The Chapelets, Bel Air, Rocher runs are often really quiet and fantastic to ski first thing in the morning. They are the furthest runs away from the Meribel side and they are usually well looked after and bashed. Pure heaven.
 
Day Out: One of the best days skiing you can have is to ski from 1650 to La Tania with lunch at the Bouc Blanc - one of the few mountain restaurants that isn't exorbitant. The ‘Folyeres' run down through the trees is beautiful and a great family ski but there are other reds and a black that are great too.
 
Best family lunch: La Table de Marie in Courchevel 1650. You have to come down, you sit inside but the atmosphere is friendly, the food is really good, service is quick and it's really good value for money."
